The four things organisers ask before setting the route.
Can we tie squares to specific bars?
Yes. Write your own squares and name the stop in the square — “the pool table at The Ship” plays better than a generic dare.
How many players can join?
As many as you like — boards are free and uncapped, and the leaderboard handles a hundred players without any extra admin.
What stops people cheating?
Every claim needs a photo, and photos unlock to the group at the end — so a fake claim is a fake photo everyone gets to see.
Does it work if we lose people?
That's most crawls. Anyone can rejoin from the link at any stop and keep claiming where they are.
